Quick Guide to 8x10 inch P&A

CCB 810PS is an extremely quick P&S camera. Enables shooting massive 8x10 inch sheet film in a small compact package with virtually no setup apart from focusing and inserting the film holders.

It features focusing helicoid with calibrated distance scale, DOF scales and Hyperfocal markings engraved directly on the focusing helicoid barrel. This makes it a breeze to zone focus or to use Hyperfocal points for quick focusing without ground glass use.

Ground glass can be easily used when needed.

There are tripod mounts for both portrait and landscape orientation. Three metal cold shoes are mounted on top to securely hold any accessories.

Lens or pinhole cones are easily interchangeable making this camera an ideal platform for both types of photography. With some practice, pinhole and lens images can be taken within a minute. Like other sizes of CCB Cameras, CCB 810PS exhibits exceptional vibration dampening performance. In this regard it will outperform almost any of the view field and studio cameras.

Paired with wide and extreme wide angle lenses it will produce excellent results in a very small package. 

115/120/121mm lenses are a good fit for this camera. Most of them fall short of covering 8x10 properly according to the specifications but in return they provide excellent images. According to specifications they might fall short by around 5mm in corners on average (115mm Grandagon a bit more). For a vast majority of the subjects this won't be visible at all. A small crop in a few cases doesn't detract much if anything from their usability in this case.

When equipped with one of these lenses it could be called an 8x10 pancake camera when looking at the dimensions of the package.

180, 210 and 240 mm lenses are some of the more accessible longer options for 8x10 cameras.

If movements are not needed, this is the easiest to use 8x10 camera and it also produces top notch results.
