612 Lens Selection

The image circle required for 612 format coverage is 132.5mm.

All of the lenses for 617, 4x5 and 5x7 cameras will work well on 612 format.

While 8x10 lenses will work, they’ll be larger and heavier.

In addition to these, lenses that fall short of covering 4x5 format can also be used. Most of the 6x9 lenses that have some coverage for movements will work well.
