617 Lens Selection
Quick Guide to 617 Lenses
Full 617 coverage requires an image circle of 180mm.
These are some popular wide angle options:
Wide angles - 75 and 90mm Schneider Super Angulon and Rodenstock Grandagon (N) versions. Fuji 90mm f8 SW is a popular option.
Normal - Schneider, Rodenstock and Fuji 135mm and 150mm lenses are very popular on 617.
Tele - any of the 180mm to 240mm lenses will work well with the helicoid focusing. Longer lenses will work well with Graflok adapter when used on Large Format cameras. Long lenses need longer extensions for closer focusing.
