How To Use 4x5 Point and Shoot Camera

Quick Guide Using CCB 45PS as an example 

This quick guide applies to all point and shoot 4x5 cameras. Beside our current CCB 45PS there are discontinued Sinar Handy, Linhof Technar and Cambo Wide. Some others were on the market and some other alternatives are still made.

What's common between above listed cameras is that they have a fixed setup with format frame and interchangeable lens cones. They also feature ground glass for focusing and focusing helicoid with calibrated distance scale, DOF and Hyperfocal markings engraved directly on the helicoid barrel.

These features make them extremely easy to use in different situations. Focusing distance can be preset. Flashlight can be mounted in the cold shoe or it can be used in natural light.

Vertical grip can be attached for one hand handling. Our CCB vertical grip is universal and of very heavy construction. It can be used on a number of different cameras with ¼” tripod thread.

Images can be composed with the small included 3d printed viewfinder by looking down the sides of the finder for very precise framing.

It can also be focused precisely on the ground glass and framing can be checked the same way when the camera is on the tripod.

It features classic image ratio and all of the common composition techniques can be used as expected.

Leveling bubbles are present in both orientations.
