All materials are kiln dried and stable.
Cameras were made to be as small and light as possible. They weigh around 200 grams without film. Weight varies slightly depending on wood used.
Body is assembled from 8 pieces of wood for maximum strength and stability.
Film advance knob is made from machined brass component and wood. All brass hardware and 0.001" (0.0254mm) shim stock is used for pinhole.
In addition to internal flat painted black surface, back cover and film gate is lined with velvet to prevent scratches and ensure film flatness.
For simplicity, film tension is adjusted with two thumb nuts on the back of the camera. The same thumb nuts are holding the back cover.
Front and back of the camera are machined flat in order to make front mounting surface parallel with film gate. This enables camera to hold film flat and be usable as a film back with custom made adapters.
This is enabled by removable pinhole plate.
1/4" tripod mount is located 48mm from the left side looking at the front of the camera.
Additional pinhole boards available on request. Blank boards also available on request for custom uses.
Pinholes are precision drilled to 0.20mm diameter.
Focal length is 30mm. F stop is around 150.
Size is 132mm x 80mm x 40mm without protrusions (shutter and thumb nuts).
1 year warranty applies to the camera.
