How To Compose With CCB 617C and 612C
Quick Guide
This is probably the simplest area to talk about when it comes to 617 and 612.
The results are striking with the simplest compositions with The Rule of 3ds, or for some more delicate images, Golden ratio can be used as well.
Positive, negative and empty space also work extremely well. Juxtaposition can be spaced out wide going much further than more rectangular and square formats.

Repetitive and monotone features come into their own and look more natural.

On landscapes far left and right sides of the image can contain some interesting greenery or sky to frame the image and redirect attention to the main subject.
Personally, I find it that any of these composition strategies are visually stronger on the 612 and 617 formats than on 2:3, 4:3 and 4:5 formats. Most of the time even placing the subject directly in the middle works extremely well.
