All three formats are marked on the ground glass, and the masks snap in.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e6x12 is the classic 2:1 panorama. Each negative has about 7.6 times the area of a 35mm frame, and the camera is 50mm narrower than the 617C, so it's easier to carry and to hold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eBuilt for flat film\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth film spools are supported at both ends, so the film tracks straight across the gate. The whole system (body, cone, helicoid and lens board) is parallel to within ±0.07mm, better than the ANSI standard for film holder flatness on similar formats. Every camera ships with a QC certificate showing its own measurements. The included viewfinder is a simple non-optical finder.
