There's nothing to set up apart from focusing and inserting the film holder, and the composite body damps vibration better than most field and studio cameras.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFocus by scale, or on the ground glass\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe helicoid is engraved with distance, depth of field and hyperfocal scales, calibrated for your lens, so you can preset the distance and zone focus without the ground glass. On a tripod, focus and framing can be checked on the ground glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eChoosing a lens\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e115mm to 121mm wide angles make the 810PS a very compact 8x10. On paper most of them fall just short of full coverage, by about 5-10mm in the corners, which rarely shows. 180mm, 210mm and 240mm lenses are accessible longer choices, and the Rodenstock Sironar-N and Schneider Symmar 240mm cover the format with room to spare. For a 300mm or anything else over 250mm, \u003ca href=\"\/en-us\/pages\/contact-us\"\u003econtact us\u003c\/a\u003e about a custom cone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eLens and pinhole on one camera\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLens and pinhole cones swap quickly, and with a little practice you can take a lens image and a pinhole image within a minute.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eHandling\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are tripod mounts for both portrait and landscape, bubble levels for both orientations and three metal cold shoes on top. The included viewfinder is a simple non-optical finder.
